First picture of ‘bright and very happy’ boy, 9, who died after suspected allergic reaction at school
This is the first picture of “bright and very happy” nine-year-old Mohammad Ashraf who sadly died after a suspected allergic reaction at school.
Mohammad, known as Ismaeel, fell ill at Al-Hijrah School in Bordesley Green, Birmingham last Friday afternoon and was taken to hospital .
But medics at nearby Heartlands Hospital were unable to save the boy, Birmingham Mail reports.
The child had a dairy allergy but his uncle has dismissed claims he died as a result of an allergic reaction.
Worried parents of children at the school, which Ofsted put in special measures last year, said the tragic youngster had suffered an allergic reaction after eating fish for lunch.
